The next dollar raised could be the cure for cystic fibrosis
We have raised more than $300,000 since the inception of Deirdre's Team 14 years ago.
Please consider a donation on behalf of Deirdre in the pursuit to end this horrible disease.
Thank you very much.
Peter, Maureen, Leah, Theresa and Deirdre

[Here's this year's letter.]
Thanks to all Deirdre's friends we've have great success raising donations for a cure for CF!
Sports are integral to Deirdre's health and soccer is her passion!
Not sure what cystic fibrosis (CF) is? Here's a succinct cheat sheet to explain a little about it.
A CF Key Point
If you have CF, your mucus becomes thick and sticky. It builds up in your lungs and blocks your airways. This leads to repeated, serious lung infections that can damage your lungs.
IS CF Contagious?
CF is not contagious and is strictly genetic. It is a recessive disorder, which means that both parents must pass on the defective gene for any of their children to get the disease. If a child inherits only one copy of the faulty gene, he or she will be a carrier. Carriers don't actually have the disease, but they can pass it on to their children.
Let’s Get Going
Exercise is encouraged on a regular basis to maintain a healthy lung capacity. Sport and aerobic exercise are recommended for all age groups of people with CF.
